Sustainable House at Kortright Centre

Whether you’re an industry professional interested in expanding your technical knowledge, or a homeowner interested in living more sustainably, The Living City Campus has a workshop for you!

The Living City Campus is operated by Toronto and Region Conservation at the Kortright Centre, 9500 Pine Valley Drive in Vaughan. It is an educational hub where people gather to learn research, demonstrate, and get inspired by technologies and practices that help build sustainable city regions.

Learning happens in many ways at the campus. Whether it’s researchers evaluating new technologies, school kids exploring renewable energy options along the Power Trip Trail, farmers seeking new opportunities to sell their produce locally, or homeowners learning to live off-grid at the cottage – they are all gaining invaluable knowledge and understanding.  By providing these and other learning opportunities, The Living City Campus aims to transform, not only individual perspectives, but our collective capacity to build a healthy and lasting city region.
